I was born in the north of Germany. After finishing school I started environmental engineering studies at the Technical University of Berlin.
During my studies I was concentrating on water treatment. In the context of a student exchange I stayed one year at the Pontificia Universidad Católica en Santiago de Chile. After completing my remaining classes and tests at the Technical University of Berlin I also prepared my graduate thesis in Chile, this time at the Universidad de la Frontera in Temuco.
After my graduate thesis I stayed two additional years in Chile working in a company doing some water related porjects apart from other projects. Back in Germany I first worked for Passavant-Roediger and later for Zech Water Technology as a process engineer for water treatment in different national and international projects. After 6 years in Germany I am now back again in Chile since end of 2013, this time in Puerto Varas in the south of Chile. After 8 years working as an employee for other companies, I am now working as an independent engineer for water treatment since end of 2013.
